Welcome to HawkCraft Studios! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our store, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, making a purchase, or accessing any part of HawkCraft Studios, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our services. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to create an account and make purchases. Unauthorized purchases made by minors may be subject to cancellation and refund at the discretion of the parent or guardian.

3. Account Registration

To make purchases, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Ensuring your email address is current and valid for receiving important notifications
  • Maintaining the security of your two-factor authentication (2FA) device if enabled

3.1 Account Types & Access Levels

Customer Accounts: Standard accounts for making purchases, earning points, and accessing digital products.

Admin Accounts: Staff accounts with elevated privileges for managing the store. Admin accounts can also make purchases, earn points, and access all customer features while maintaining administrative capabilities.

Note: All account types are bound by these Terms of Service.

3.2 Social Login Integration

You can create and access your account using third-party authentication services including:

  • Discord OAuth: Link your Discord account for quick login and identification
  • Roblox OAuth: Link your Roblox account for authentication and profile integration
  • Email/Password: Traditional authentication method with optional 2FA

You may link multiple authentication methods to your account. However, you must maintain at least one active authentication method at all times. When using social login:

  • You authorize us to access basic profile information from the linked service
  • You agree to comply with the terms of service of the third-party provider
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your linked accounts
  • Unlinking your only authentication method will prevent account access

3.3 Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Admin accounts are required to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for enhanced security. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your 2FA device (phone/authenticator app) secure
  • Storing your backup codes in a safe location
  • Not sharing your 2FA codes with anyone
  • Updating your 2FA settings if you change devices

Note: Loss of access to your 2FA device may require identity verification to regain account access.

3.4 Store Points & Rewards

You can earn store points by making purchases (typically 1 point per dollar spent). Points can be used to purchase select products marked as "purchasable with points." Points:

  • Have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money
  • Are non-transferable between accounts
  • May expire if your account is inactive for extended periods (180+ days)
  • Can be revoked if obtained through fraudulent means or Terms violations
  • Are visible in your account dashboard and header navigation
  • Apply to all account types including admin accounts

Note: Points earned are based on the monetary amount spent and do not apply to purchases made with points themselves.

3.5 Download Access Management

For digital products, we reserve the right to revoke download access in cases of:

  • Refunded or charged-back orders
  • Terms of Service violations
  • Abuse of download privileges
  • Account suspension or termination

We track all download attempts including IP addresses and timestamps for security purposes.

4. Products & Services

4.1 Product Types

HawkCraft Studios offers both physical products and digital products (including but not limited to software, templates, files, and digital downloads).

4.2 Product Descriptions

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and images. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing, or other content is error-free, complete, or current.

4.3 Pricing

All prices are listed in USD or CAD as specified. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and paid for.

4.4 Availability

Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

5. Payment & Checkout

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept payment through Stripe, which supports major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods. All payment processing is handled securely through Stripe's platform.

5.2 Payment Authorization

By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the total amount of your purchase. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method you provide.

5.3 Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is successfully placed. This confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order—it is merely confirmation that we received your order.

6. Refunds & Returns

6.1 Physical Products

Physical products may be returned within 30 business days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are:

  • In their original condition and packaging
  • Unused and undamaged
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or we shipped the wrong item.

6.2 Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are generally not provided once the product has been downloaded or accessed. However, we will consider refund requests under specific circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Unauthorized purchases made by minors using a parent's or guardian's payment method (verified by the parent/guardian contacting us from the associated email or payment account)
  • Technical issues that prevent access to the digital product, which we are unable to resolve
  • Product is materially different from what was described
  • Duplicate purchases made in error

Refund requests must be submitted to hawkcraftstudios@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase.

6.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.

7. Digital Product License

When you purchase a digital product from HawkCraft Studios, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for personal or commercial use, unless otherwise specified in the product description. You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, or share the digital product with others
  • Claim authorship or ownership of the digital product
  • Use the product in a way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the product (unless explicitly permitted)

8. Shipping & Delivery

8.1 Physical Products

Shipping times and costs vary based on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.

8.2 Digital Products

Digital products are delivered instantly via email and through your account dashboard upon successful payment. You will receive a download link and can access your purchased digital products at any time by logging into your account.

8.3 Delivery Issues

If you do not receive your digital product within 24 hours of purchase, or if you experience issues accessing your purchase, please contact us at hawkcraftstudios@gmail.com.

9. Reviews & User-Generated Content

9.1 Leaving Reviews

You may leave reviews and ratings for:

  • Products: After purchasing a product, you can leave a product review and rating (1-5 stars)
  • Store Experience: All registered users can leave general store reviews on our Reviews page

By submitting a review, you grant HawkCraft Studios a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your review content for promotional and operational purposes.

9.2 Review Guidelines

All reviews must comply with the following guidelines:

  • Be honest and authentic: Reviews should reflect your genuine experience
  • Be respectful: No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks
  • Be relevant: Reviews should pertain to the product or store experience
  • No spam: Do not post repetitive, promotional, or irrelevant content
  • No inappropriate content: No profanity, explicit material, or offensive language
  • No fraudulent reviews: Do not review products you haven't purchased or used

9.3 Review Moderation

All reviews are subject to moderation and approval before being published. We reserve the right to:

  • Approve, reject, or remove reviews that violate our guidelines
  • Edit reviews for formatting, grammar, or clarity (content will not be changed)
  • Remove reviews that contain personal information, links, or promotional content
  • Take action against accounts that repeatedly violate review guidelines

Review Status: Submitted reviews will show as "Pending" until reviewed by our moderation team. Approved reviews appear publicly, while rejected reviews are removed.

9.4 Review Ownership & Rights

You retain ownership of the content you submit in reviews. However, by posting a review, you:

  • Grant us the right to display your review publicly on our website
  • Acknowledge that your review may be visible to other users and the public
  • Agree that we may use your review in marketing materials and social media
  • Understand that reviews cannot be edited after submission (contact support for removal requests)

10. Privacy & Data Collection

We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information, including:

  • Account Information: Email, password (encrypted), username, and linked social account data (Discord/Roblox usernames, avatars, display names)
  • Order Information: Billing and shipping addresses, purchase history, points balance
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, cookies, and session data to maintain secure connections and provide personalized experiences
  • Communication Data: Email correspondence, support tickets, and review submissions
  • User-Generated Content: Product reviews, ratings, and feedback you submit

13. Warranties & Disclaimers

13.1 Product Warranties

Physical products are covered by a 7-day warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects. We will repair or replace defective products at our discretion.

Digital products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13.2 Service Disclaimer

We do not guarantee that our website will be available at all times, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without notice.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HawkCraft Studios and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or products.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of our services or purchase of products is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service in question.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and refuse service to anyone who violates these Terms.

16. Content Moderation & Account Actions

Automated & Manual Moderation: We employ both automated systems and manual review to moderate user-generated content including usernames, reviews, and account activity. Actions may include:

  • Content Rejection: Reviews or usernames containing inappropriate content will be automatically rejected
  • Account Flagging: Repeated violations result in account flagging and manual review
  • Temporary Bans: Moderate violations may result in temporary account suspension (7-30 days)
  • Permanent Bans: Severe or repeated violations result in permanent account termination
  • IP Blocking: In cases of abuse, we may block IP addresses from accessing our services

Appeals: If you believe your account action was in error, contact support@hawkcraftstudios.com with your account details.

17. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us at hawkcraftstudios@gmail.com first so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Canada.
